Buster Balloon Monster Factory

Yes Boils and Ghouls, Buster Balloon (formerly Don Caldwell) did a 6 HOUR intensive workshop on the art of building monsters! Attendees learned a handful of recipes, some creepy concepts, and most importantly how to unleash their inner mad scientist and create their own monstrous designs. Beast of all this was a concept class, which means no matter what the skill level is attendees walked away with ideas they could incorporate into their work. Buster was co-lead and head of monster design at the legendary Balloon Manor for all four years of it's run. Buster created a bunch of monsters while demonstrating the principles of balloonicature. Attendees got to understand the basics and then were shown how changing eyes, mouths and facial structure could produce a huge variety of monsters.

After six hours of lecture, some of the attendees made monsters to demonstrate the skills they had just learned.
