PUSH VALVE INSTRUCTIONS

Your push valve regulator may be cone / mushroom shaped and look like this (right). If so, you need an extension adapter so that it is easy to enter a valved balloon. The extension adapter is inexpensive and can be purchased through most balloon distributors.

You will need equipment that has a controllable flow of gas to inflate the inner balloon. We highly recommend an auto shutoff regulator with a flexible tilt valve or a tilt valve on it's own.

July 2004 improvements will allow you to use a Push Valve the same as you would a Flex Tilt Valve due to the Super Stong Non-Leak Valves. Look for arrows printed on the valves to insure that you are using the improved Super Stong Non-Leak Valves. Coming July 2004!

If you still have some of the Previous Bubble Balloons (valves without arrows printed on them), please follow the instructions written below.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREVIOUS VERSION BUBBLE BALLOONS USING A PUSH VALVE

Step 1: Locate Blue "A" valve. SLIGHTLY inflate the OUTER Bubble no more than 5 seconds using the inflator you use for FOIL balloons. Just a puff of helium is all you need! There is more space for the inner balloon the less you inflate the outer balloon.
Step 2: Locate the White "B" valve. Inflate the INNER balloon using the inflator you use for foil balloons. An automatic shutoff regulator is preferred for the inner balloon because it is just like a foil balloon. Inflate the Inner balloon until the auto shutoff COMPLETELY stops. (Hint: Inner balloon is similar to a shaped foil balloon and for this reason, leaving room for heat expansion during summer seasons may be necessary depending upon your type of equipment). For best look, straighten inner balloon before proceeding to Step 3.
Step 3: Return to "A" valve. Inflate continuing to use the inflator you use for FOIL balloons. When the OUTER balloon does not inflate anymore, then switch to the "PUSH VALVE" inflator with Extension Adapter. SLOWLY inflate OUTER balloon until the wrinkles ALL disappear. IMPORTANT: NEVER leave ANY wrinkles on the outer Bubble seam. This is a Pop Resistant* balloon. Although may seem tight, stop inflating just as wrinkles disappear leaving a perfect smooth seam. The outer Bubble stretches like latex. Bubble Balloons float for 3 - 5 weeks. Hint: If INNER balloon shrinks noticeably, use inflator you use for LATEX balloons to add the SLIGHTEST amount of helium to the inner balloon.

DID YOU KNOW...

THE AUTO-SHUT OFF INFLATOR WILL NEVER FILL THE OUTER BALLOON COMPLETELY. The auto shutoff inflators used for foil balloons do not have power to inflate 100% wrinkle-free. You must use the outlet meant for LATEX balloons to properly inflate a Bubble Balloon. If using a "Push Valve" with Extension Adapter, you will need to inflate slowly. The equipment we recommend for the outer balloon is one that has a flexible tilt valve on it.

*Pop Resistant balloons can endure high inflation and outside pressures. Exposing balloon to extreme heat or sharp objects may cause balloon to burst. This is a Pop Resistant balloon; not Pop Proof.

Under Inflated

Do NOT inflate soft like a foil balloon! It will not look good, and will not float or sell well. Always inflate a Bubble Balloon wrinkle-free. You will need to use your push valve to achieve this look.

Correctly Inflated

Stop inflating just as wrinkles disappear completely. Bubble Balloons should not have any winkles similar to a beach ball. You can achieve 3-5 week float when inflated correctly.

Over Inflated

Above example is twice the correct size and not recommended that one inflate so full! Nevertheless, this example shows you that the outer Bubble Balloon will stretch and stretch before it pops!
