Moisture Quick Fix

If for any reason your Sparklets are dry and pop during inflation, do not despair. You can fix them quite easily by adding moisture yourself.

Easy, but may have to wait 2 weeks before you can inflate the balloons.

The easiest Moisture Fix is to cut a slit in the Moist-Pak Towelette Packet and soak the packet in water. Wipe off excess water and put it back into the Zip-Lock bag. Keep Zip-Lock bag sealed tightly. Sparklet may need up to 2 weeks to absorb moisture adequately.

Steam soaks into the plastic immediately and instantly softens the balloon allowing you to inflate wrinkle-free.

Steamy Room: If you need to treat many of them at once or need a quick emergency fix, it is easiest to turn your shower room into a steam room by running a hot shower for 10 minutes and closing the door. Pull each Sparklet from the pack and loosely put them in an airy container (such as a large plastic clothing hamper or cardboard box) or simply hang them around the room. The longer you can leave them in there the better, but if you can lay them loosely enough and steam is plentiful, a minimum of 15 minutes is fine. Take your softened Sparklets and put them back into the Zip-Lock bag and seal tightly. If you need the moisture to last longer, wet a paper towel and put it in an open sandwich bag. Put this open sandwich bag in a Zip-Lock bag together with your Sparklets. The sandwich bag keeps the wetness away from the balloons, but allows the moisture into the Zip-Lock bag to reach the balloons.
By using steam you have created a VERY stretchy Sparklet. You can now use your latex balloon equipment and inflate wrinkle free without fear of popping.
